I'm so sick and tired of these comparisons when it comes to sports. Anthony Edwards to Michael jordan, Luka to Larry bird. Just let these players be great and who they are on their own. Every great or good player for that matter, doesn't need to be compared to somebody else from the past. Most of the people that they be trying to compare aint even won a championship yet, let alone been to the NBA finals.

Key is so biased against Luka "Look how long is taking him (to win championships, MVPs)", while Jordan won his first MVP at 24 and his first championship at 27 (same as Lebron). Are Jordan or Lebron worse than Bird because they took more time to win 3 MVPs and 3 championships?

Bird made defensive teams..Luka hasn't. Bird was a better shooter in all facets of scoring..midrange, post, 3 point in an era where the three pointer was hardly taken, free throw. And bird averaged 10 boards while playing with two other hall of fame big men in Parish and McHale. And Bird was the first 50/40/90 guy and he wasn't even thinking of focused on doing that.

Bird played with many other Hall of Famers. That's why his scoring numbers suffered. He could have easily been a 30ppg scorer himself.
