Family of 5... Living in a Tiny House for 4 Years!

I think it's great. Society has put too much expectation on each child getting their own room, some even with their own bathrooms. I love the tiny space. We raised our 2 kids in a 500 sq ft house with 1 bathroom. It worked. We all still love each other, lol. Now being empty nesters it's perfect. Your addition is lovely.

This is the most livable tiny house I've seen, so many are totally impracticable. It's a credit to you and your family.

This is the first time I've seen your video and I got to tell you I like how you added the addition and you don't have to justify why you didn't do anything.. you will get to it when you're ready.. I love your place I love the outdoor space and love your new dining room .I love the kids rooms upstairs that walk way is kind of scary I would have to have more protection cuz I probably lose my balance and still fall through the ropes I am a klutz... I think you did a wonderful job.. I love how you look out to nature and the stream and the trees.. seems perfect!!

Warm, functional, realistically curated to keep personality but avoid clutter, and absolutely dreamy, I enjoyed every second of this tour. I appreciate you making this video and sharing it. Inspiration abounds! I live in 600 sq foot condo in the city with an 11 and 14yo, and would love that dreamy outside space and creek. What a treasure you have there. ❤️ 🏡

Beautiful home. I pretty much shared a tiny room with my sister always. We live in a lovely old Victoria house it had 3 bedrooms, and only the master bedroom had a closet. But I loved that home and those memories. Thank you for a peak into you home.

it's very nice! but in my country a bathroom that opens directly in the living area would be considered unsanitary, and the house would not be considered legally liveable. the best part though was seeing the snow and the pretty outdoor from your windows, it looks so gorgeous there

Lovely home! Beautiful tour and great job designing the various elements to suit for family's needs. ❤ (I just sold my white farmhouse style THOW in NS.) Will miss it dearly. TH living may not be for everyone but besides being economical can be almost spiritual.🎉 Your kids will have had an amazing experience living in this home. And formed close family bonds and great organizational skills as a result. Best of luck to you in your future plans! 🤗 I was curious re how you heat your home? Being on Vancouver Is perhaps not as big a challenge in winter months as it is where I live. Or in other parts of Canada? I also had a mini cubic but found you had to keep loading the smaller logs to maintain a good fire. Also used a heat pump and oil filled heaters to supplement. Perhaps you only need some electric heaters for colder months?
