I invented liquid PLASTIC! Just take the CD 📀 , Hello dear viewers! I am pleased to present you a unique method for creating liquid plastic at home. You only need two ingredients for this - a plastic DVD cover and industrial grade acetone.

Initially, it is important to note that only a certain type of plastic is suitable for our method, namely the plastic used in DVD disc covers. This is due to its composition, which allows us to achieve the desired result.

The process begins with the combination of plastic and acetone. When mixed, the plastic immediately begins to dissolve and stick together, but it takes time for the full result. We recommend waiting 24 hours to allow the mass to fully transform into liquid plastic.

After six hours, you need to mix the mass, and you will see that it acquires the consistency of plasticine. After a day, we can evaluate the result - real liquid plastic!

Now the most interesting thing is the use of liquid plastic. You need to work with it quickly, as it quickly hardens in the air. However, its properties make it possible to bond various materials such as silicone, aluminum and plastic. The results of this method are really impressive and 100% effective.

I hope you enjoy our method of creating liquid plastic and that you can successfully apply it to your projects. Thank you for watching, and see you soon!

You didn't invent anything Corky, you dissolved polystyrene into acetone. SMH...

Hi nice video. It is simply dissolution of PolyStyrene or ortiented-PS with aceton; It works with hard PS, but also with styrofoam aceton can really dissolve hurge quantities of the isolating foam; it is fun to watch it chew trough it as if it was a super acid. The glue goo or solution can be done very fast from styrofoam; with hard PS it takes more time. With CD-DVD-or audio tapes hard transparent PS, you can get a frost like effect since the aceton dissolve imediately the upper shiny and transparent surface; any contact of another PS surface will glue the two very fast almost as if it is fused thermaly; transparancy will be lost unless you work with big dilutions and perfecly transparent PS. One of the main drawbacks is that PS is PS; so it is a hard plastic but also a brittle one; the plastic solution doesn't dry wel if against a unpermeable hard surface that doesn't allow the aceton to evaporate through it; or if the PS sticks to it so unmolding can be a trouble. Another trouble is that the aceton can leave the liquid plastic by evaporation; and this works wel for big surfaces; but larger objects often get a depression on top upon contact with air; often one observe bubbles inside the plastic. Very large objects tends to get wrinkels at the surface due to trying to move or unstick the PS out of its mold and the core display a higher concentration and softness than the surface; this because there is a gradient of aceton concentration from outside evaporation and inner PS core. The PS can be depolymerized at arround 400¨C and styren monomer can be distilled and rectified by distillation and vigreux column aswel as temperature monitoring. The monomer distills at 144¨C at ambiant pressure as a very refringent liquid; quite stinky, carcinogen (because a volatile aromatic); upon storage and standing it repolymerizes ; and the mobile refringent liquid slowly turns into more and more viscous oil and finaly hard PS; here there is no aceton so only a moderate contraction is observed during polymerisation; also no bubbles show if not agitated. Kind regards, PHZ (PHILOU Zrealone from the Science Madness forum)

  • Acetone and residues from plastic models. I have been using this glue for fifty years.

Acetone and STYROFOAM. Same results, but takes only seconds instead of hours.

Andre❤

Liquid plastic is a delicious drink, thank you for the recipe.

At least I learned how to break a plastic into small pieces 😂😂😂
