It's as if Grohl called everyone to play at Taylor's tribute and no one turned him down. EVERYONE came.
  • I don’t know why this hasn’t blown up. This is an amazing comprehensive video of the show, and I thank you so much for doing such an amazing job of putting it together. Thank you thank you

Can we take a second to recognize two of the greatest bass players of all time on that stage - John Paul Jones age 76 and Geezer Butler age 73. And they went OFF! Absolutely amazing talents, no age limits.

I have attended many music festivals in my life with some powerhouse lineups, but this concert was by far the best I have seen in my 68 years of life. I was fortunate enough to get a single ticket, side stage right, 5th row, with an amazing view of the performers, but also the love that was taking place back stage. Most impressive was the love and support to Shane provided by Pat Smear and Rufus Taylor. Shane and Rufus were sitting together with each other, directly behind the stage. Shane was behind Rufus playing and vice versa. I love the Foos and have seen them many times as well as Dave (at the Fox in Oakland with his daughters Violet and Harper, solo. I treasure the memories, but hope they go on. Rufus is the only one suitable to replace Taylor. Some say he copied Taylor, but if you believe that, watch a video of Roger Taylor playing back in the 1970's. Rufus is the spitting image of his father. Roger Taylor was the hero of both his son Rufus and Taylor. This bond provides the continuity necessary for anyone to take the place of Taylor, as Rufus was influenced by his dad and Taylor. He is family. It is the love amongst the Foos that makes them work and has enabled their survival all these years. This aside, the concert was awesome in every way. The opening with Violet singing Hallelujah was a somber movement before a crazy rock and roll party. Things got serious again when Brian May made the beautiful dedication to Allison on "Love of my Life," and when Rufus broke down while playing on "Best of You." then totally lost it when he got off of the stage and was comforted by Chad Smith. I am so glad Dave did not start with the tease of "Times Like These," and instead ripped into "All my Life." I wonder if he was going to and too fearful he would lose it again as at Wembly. My love to Allison, the Hawkins family, and the Foos as they grieve the loss of this extraordinary man and musician. The passion of the music and the excitement of attending Foo Fighters concerts will be in my heart, always., whether or not they choose to continue.

If you look at the joy on Dave's face while he is playing with all of these musicians...it will make your day! ...great musicians showing L-O-V-E!

Dude ❤ thank you so much for this. You leave your house, you pay your ticket and you spend all the show with your phone in your hand just to share the tribute. Such generosity blows my fucking mind. Kudos 🙏

I watched the livestream of the 1st tribute for Taylor. Had my headphones on for over 3 hours. Watching this, although not the entire performance, has been a pleasure. Well done & Thank You for sharing it with us.

Thanks for the upload, man.......................... wow, what a show!!!!! Who wouldn't be pleased with a send -off like that?....?..... Most people who have a memorial top the bill with some sandwiches, so it's safe to say Taylor wasn't 'most people' . What he was, as that show made quite clear, was an extremely well-loved, decent bloke who will be missed by many....................................

THANK YOU so VERY much for taking the time to put this together ❤️ I was lucky enough to be there and while the reason we were all together is tragic, it was one of the most beautifully, rocking nights of my 49 years. Made more special bc my little brother was with me 💟

This is way up there in terms of one of the best tributes to a passing musician reminding us of the many others lost and noticeably missing from many of the guest bands. Thank you for keeping Rock alive, so many greats are gone, and Taylor will be missed by many he loved Rock more than anyone, thank you for posting this video.
  • Crazy that one week ago so many of us were together and this insane, epic, emotional, amazing, unforgettable concert. It truly felt like a celebration of life, a celebration of love for music and rock! Great video - I’ll be reminiscing about being at this show for a very long time! Rest easy Taylor ❤

This is great! Stewart Copeland of the Police and Eliot Easton of the Cars and John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin! I mean what more could you want? All playing one after another! Taylor Hawkins sure knew a lot of great musicians and hung out with them. RIP Hawkins 💐
