12 mins of up to tennis ball size hail Sep. 29, 2023 North Austin/Round Rock, TX area = file home owners insurance claim literally 10 mins after the storm, after seeing this size hail land inside our house from breaking through the windows and holes through the house siding exposing pink insulation. That IS the right thing to do.

5:24 zero pay claims I can see hurting...but a number of claims from "declared catastrophe" zones should not hurt

I live in Ohio where they just pay onezy twozies I call it. Basically damage on a scale of 1-10 maybe a 1 or 2. I am honest like you but it gets me nowhere here in Columbus as I see roofs get torn up that have no damage on them all the time. The doorknockers are so bad that some homeowners will think I'm lying when I'm telling them what I just said.

We just got some small hail hits on roof,do small hits bout 1/4 inch cause problem?Roof was replaced last year,dont think insurance will cover,Anything you can do without replacing shingles that would help.Thanks
