A baby boy is rushed to the hospital with multiple broken bones. Pediatricians say it's child abuse, but his mother insists they are wrong. State law says she was entitled to a second opinion, but state officials took custody of her baby without one: "I missed all the milestones."

It seems that they can quickly remove a small baby, but not an older child verbally saying they are being abused. Sickening.

That doctor should NOT BE PROTECTED. Terrible, terrible unprofessional behavior! So sickening.

They'll take kids away from loving parents in a heartbeat, but yet ignore calls and an actual child's testimony and keep them in an abusive home until they're beat or starved to death. This is absolutely insane.

I would be suing the doctor and the child protective system for false allegations

Imagine if the parents hadn't had the money for lawyers. Imagine how many parents have lost their children forever because they don't have lawyers.

As a nurse, I was able to help a family avoid this situation when they brought their baby into the hospital with unexplained fractures and I was the administrative supervisor on duty. The police and DFACS were called but my gut told me it was something different. The baby was sent to Atlanta and it was osteogenesis imperfecta. Praise God I was on duty that day to intervene on behalf of those parents.

My sister had clubbed feet and had 13 surgeries by age 6. Every time she had casts on, people would glare at my mom and she straight up had people call her a child abuser. I'd never seen someone cry like she did.

The way her son went up to hug her when he saw her crying 🥺❤️ what an unbreakable bond
  • It's a shame that kids that are truly abused they do nothing about and that they do this to this mom before thoroughly investigating is sickening. I can only imagine how helpless she must have felt.
  • Look for doctor's who are older, late 40s, 50s, not these doctor's who have just graduated.

This mom will never get over this! It’s the most unbearable pain a mother can feel especially when you’ve done nothing wrong and loved your children.

This is so scary that this can happen. As a Mother, this is terrifying. She wasn’t able to get a second opinion? Wow.

That judge who helped parent get kids back, is a hero in my eyes ❤

I’m so glad that my son was diagnosed with OI when he was a few days old. Every time I took him to the hospital for breaks they always thought abuse first! It’s so traumatizing!

The worst feeling in the world is to be wrongly accused of abusing your own child when you know you haven’t done anything wrong. This mother and son lost a year of bonding and milestones because of a wrong diagnosis and accusations. So sad. The baby won’t remember this but the mother is permanently scarred and traumatized. These physicians need to be held accountable for not properly reviewing medical reports and jumping to conclusions that negatively caused irreparable harm.
  • This woman better sue. She'll 100% win. It's not like she'll get that time she missed back but there needs to be some sort of repercussions for the people who allowed this to happen. This boils my blood so much.

My kids were taken for 2 years because an investigator said she witnessed a drug transaction which was wild. I almost fell to the floor. In trial it was ruled as suspicious activity but I was still denied my children and the state of Florida refused to return my children without years of drug tests and I’ve never done drugs. Absolutely unacceptable and scary. My 4 children as well as us parents and families are forever traumatized from the department.
  • This lady should be compensated for all the “mistakes the system “ did as well as a false diagnosis! This lady is an amazing mother and a warrior for keep fighting and finally having her beautiful children back as a result ❤ 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
  • Meanwhile...they are continuously letting people really abuse their kids smh and they don't show up till a kid is dead😡🤦
