2:12:11 the crowd being all over Papelbon is one of the best moments. You will never see this happen at an All Star Game in todays game. The heat of that Yankees and Sox rivalry was so intense

I was 9.5 years old when this game was played now I’m 25 just crazy how time flies 😢my first all star game I watched was 2011 I believe.

I had to say MLB All star game 2008 was the greatest game ever played among others from past here and the future will forever will be never doesn't matter who ever is up in the big league's

I was 14 going on 15. I remember watching this game with my dad fun and great all-star game. The Yankees did not make the playoffs that year. It felt like a play off game and it was the closest thing to a play off game.

At about 2:55, 10th inning, you see real managing strategy. Mound visits, intentional walk, infield and outfield in. The home field of the WS going to the winner was a dumb gimmick but it did make them play the game differently.

Would have been better if thhey renovated the stadium in my opinion. This new one doesn't have that same feeling.
