The last season when they did the on location scenes. 1989-1990 & 1990-1991 seasons, were done cheap and skimpy on the lorimar soundstage in Culver City.

Who the hell would think Ellie would drive anything BUT a Rabbit? She never had a dress over a c-note, wore jeans, sweatshirts, and potato sacks, and never spent a dime. I’d think of Ellie as someone who talked the interest rate to less than nothing at the dealership
