Hey everyone! I wanted to take a moment to not only to celebrate the success of this video, but to also address a recurrent criticism being made in the comments. Looking back I realize how absurd it sounds saying that Jon made “a new genre”, my dumbaxx at the time didn’t know what acapella was at the time..😔 I’d like to say more so that Jon just brings something ‘different’ to the table that I hadn’t heard of beforehand listening to him. Hope this addresses some of you, THANK YOU. 999 WE’RE SO CLOOSE!✊
  • Jon Bellion, without a doubt, sparked my interest in being an ACTIVE LISTENER to music instead of just liking a song because "it sounds nice" and getting away from industry type shit.

I’ll never forget hearing All Time Low for the first time and going into a rabbit hole listening to his earlier albums for months straight. He is the only male artist that I want to see in concert one day
  • I owe Jon a lot. For igniting my love for music, listening to music, understanding music, and creating music. The Human Condition was the first album I ever listened through all the way through and it really impacted my life and helped me through tough times in my life. Though I do not listen to him nearly as much as I used to, he will always hold a special place in my heart and life.

The Human Condition is always going to be one of my favourite albums of all time. Morning in America hits me so hard even after years of listening to it.

"Theres bones in my closet but you hang stuff anyway" Is so deep, i remember when i saw those videos of him making this song, i fell in love with his music. Dude is one of my greatests inspirations.
  • I grew up 15 min from Jon so all the Long Island references in his songs hit extra hard. Really hope he puts out another album at some point.

Bruh I’ve been listening to John since I was 19, I’m 25 now. Dude has the career and level of fame I want, he’s known but still unknown, never sold his soul, a Christian, an amazing artist and really cool dude. Not too many like him left in my humble opinion

I had “good things fall apart” on repeat for 3 years straight. Incredibly addicting song and great vocals
  • @NightWink129
I love how giddy he gets when making music. He is genuinly sharing his light, and his Inner Child seems to be very happy and is acting in a very healthy way. His joy is contagious.

As some others said here in the comments, Jon Bellion was the man that got me INTO music. Up until then I'd never fully appreciated the nuance of songs, never really experiencing them past the surface, but Jon's music really changed something for me. I will never forget my first time hearing All Time Low in a generic mixed playlist in 2016, liking it so much I dropped everything I was doing to see the artist and what other songs they might have made, making my way to The Human Condition and absolutely falling in love with the album. Jon became my top artist in 2017 and stayed in that position every year thus far except 2018 and 2020 (2nd place only to Juice WRLD both times, dark years those ones). Glory Sound Prep was unbelievable for me, I fondly remember my first time listening to the album; vibing to JT, holding back tears with Stupid Deep, falling in love with the sound of Adult Swim and absolutely sobbing while listening to Mah's Joint. I bought a whole record player just for the GSP Vinyl lmfao. Everytime I heard The Monster, Memories, Graveyard or Liar while around friends I felt compelled to slide in a "did you know Jon Bellion wrote this?". I cannot put into words how frustrating it was when one of my friends was talking about how "Justin Bieber definitely wrote 'Ghost' for Selena Gomez" while I was sitting there trying not to burst into a nerd-fit about Jon Bellion writing it for his grandma and how he wrote more than half that album 😭😭 Man I rarely ever comment and just wanted to say I like Jon's music but instead turned into a full simp sesh lmfao. Can't wait for Jon to come back and bless us with JB3! This time I'm finally old enough to go to his live concerts, after which my life will be fully complete.
  • This video almost perfectly explains why I love Jon Bellion. His career is astonishing but, almost nobody’s heard of him. He takes care of music like the special thing that it is. Even in the song where he nearly breaks his voice (Stupid Deep) I can’t completely express how much I resonate with that song. “What if all the things I’ve done were just attempts at earning love” isn’t a new idea but, his delivery of that line adds more importance to it. I think this is how I want to be as a musician. I don’t want to be known by everyone but, I want to create music that inspires creativity and comforts people. Most importantly I just want to be heard.
  • "All Time Low" was the first song by Jon I heard when I paid my brother a visit from Uni, I played that song all day. I did not only listen to the rest of the tracks of the album it was from, but I also followed on all platforms to hear the latest and see his creation. The Human Condition album was one that resonated so well with me. Jon is genuinely for the CRAFT and that's what I love about him.
  • Not everyone who listens to music is a true music enthusiast.... But truly, everyone who listens to Jon Bellion On purpose are true music enthusiasts, people who always seem to make an emotional connection with every line, word, beat drop, vocal and just the entire musical spectrum involved.... Hence why we come on here and look for videos that try to explain how such a gem can exist in the music space.... Because listening is not enough...🥺❤️

It’s crazy to see the progress in his life I remember going to college with Jon. Watching him go to class exhausted because he spent whole night making songs in the dorm rooms. I’m glad this video came up on my time line. Good memories.

"The groove is so dope, that I almost don't even want to distract it with words." - Jon Bellion
  • A few months back I was in the car with my girlfriend and that newer Bieber track came on the radio. Only a few bars in I said, “Jon Bellion wrote this.” She replied “They said it was Justin Bieber.” “Yeah, but Jon wrote it. I already know it.” She looked it up for me and I was spot on. I’d never heard it before, and I honestly stopped keeping up with Jon a few years ago. His style just shines through on every track he touches. Man changed the way I look at creating music. I haven’t made anything in years now, but this video really reminded me of that part of me that’s missing.

When you brought up freshman year, I instantly connected with you. His music had the same effect on me, it felt different, REAL, it struck such a strong cord in my soul. It didn't feel like a song, it felt like a poem he was vocalizing to the world. I'm glad to see he was able to positively impact so many others.

I have been a Jon Bellion for about 5 years now. I have not found anyone that compares, if I only had to listen to one artist for the rest of my life it would be him no doubt. Jon and NF have help me trough so much in my life, and I can not thank them enough.
  • @MrShawn
Jon Bellion is literally the best artist of all time
