The open shoulder thing is like the entire key to this trick but its so hard to explain to someone who isn’t doing the trick themselves instead of standing forward you almost stand sideways skipping half the rotation

I’m a frontside flipper. Dead on. Flick foot back and pointed. Shoulders opening early. Brad Cromer is the guy to watch for me.

Are you the same guy that's a absolute drywall guru lmao? Amazing

Haven't skated in a while but these little tips makes me wanna learn again

It’s all in the back foot positioning, in the pocket of the tail with the toes gives you a good scoop. Having your shoulders already facing the direction you’re going helps too.

You are exceptionally good at leaning onto the switch front leg right after flicking. Usually people can't do it but keep leaning towards the flicking leg.

❤❤❤❤ oh I am going to get so good at switch front side flip now 😂 thanks Ben you’re the most informative and enjoyable to watch! You ,hater ,Dan are the bestest 😂
  • This is exactly how I figured them out when I first learned them! Works great 💯
  • Also forgot about the kick motion, it’s different and you really gotta get it off the way. Thanks Ben!
  • Thank you! I'm loving your trick tip series. I can't wait to try fs flip this way.

I have learned that trick two days ago and what he just said would have saved me so much time and effort. Those feet positions are the truth, nothing but good info from this man and isn't trying to market himself with too much talking etc

You actually have very good looking FS flips. I’m picky about FS flips
  • @xdmon1220
Yours look so chill and centered, i can only land them when I lean super far back. It feels like I'm almost going to slip out because I'm leaning so far on my back foot and I still sometimes land too far on the nose.

I don't even know how to Ollie Frontside 180, but I'm still going to try this trick. I love you, Ben
