Justice Kagan, If you are designing airplanes, is racial diversity important or do you want the very best engineers?
  • Just as you're not going to hold my race against me when judging the quality of my arguments. Holy shit, shots fired!

Imagine having to pick your friends based on race and not content of character.
  • She just brushes off that asian american students are discriminated against.

Earlier this year I was in the cardiac ICU for 2 weeks suffering a serious heart failure with liver issues. I had a "diverse set" of medical professionals caring for me. Cardiologists, nephrologists, endocrinologists, gastro entronogists & at least 10 nurses. They consisted of men, women, blacks, whites, asians, hispanics, arabic & a variety of mixed race individuals. Their gender, race & ethnicity didn't mean shit to me. Their credentials, however, meant everything to me. Best I can tell, my gender & race didn't mean shit to them either. Only that I got better. As it should be.

She makes me sick. Merit should be the most important part of entrance to universities

Hmm, I'm curious whether Justice Kagan should be recusing herself from this case. She spent a number of years as Dean of the Harvard Law School, and was likely involved in developing or updating many of the law school's admissions policies over the years.
  • @Dunks-
Its super important to have qualified doctors at a hospital
  • It is Unconstitutional to turn someone away because of race. If you took race out of it and picked on merit alone that would be the right thing to do.
  • She is so embarrassing. This is blatant discrimination... but she ignores the constitution. Asks all the wrong questions.

Yes, look at the NFL the best player gets to play, they don't have quotas. Why aren't people complaining about that???

Diversity on a college campus has led to segregated dorms, separate graduation ceremonies, all-black fraternities, special programs directed to benefit a specific minority group, and mandated Diversity training classes for incoming first-year students. So much for the organic commingling of students and the free exchange of ideas and experiences.
  • This lawyer threw it right back to her face! That is so great!

I'm a Filipino here in the Philippines. Something very weird is happening in the United States. 'Affirmative action' is quite dehumanizing. How can't they see it?

The minority patient who is having heart surgery doesn't care if his doctor looks like him, he just wants a caring doctor with the best hands and e perience.

Boiled down to its core, the question is "Do you think racial discrimination in selecting students is ok?" Simple as that. Its yes or no.

Kagan got owned at least 3 or 4 times.
