Since I've gotten a few comments about this - I'm pointing this out - The footage looks the way it does because I would prefer to NOT get copyright struck. I'm sorry if you don't like it, but I wanted to talk about this series I've fallen in love with, and I'd prefer to not get punished for talking about it.

"You can expel me whenever you want... I can bury you whenever I want..." Why does that line go so hard?!
  • From what I gather, one of the reasons why Merry Sues/Garry Stus are so reviled is because they’re written like the universe revolves around them, that everything clicks into place for them without so much of an interesting conflict. In the case of Mash, it’s the exact opposite. The universe is against him and he’s using his strength (metaphorically and literally) to get around in a spectacular fashion
  • I completely forgot Magic and Mashles got animated. This series was funny as hell for me. Whether it's the shrunken faces from seeing Mash's power, him mistaking Lance for a lolicon over a picture of his little sister, or the point where the giant skull horse reads his mind and finds nothing but cream puffs and struggles to actually place him in a proper category, and especially the scene where he shows he believes in gender equality, Magic and Mashles is a fun ride the whole way through.

Im so happy people ended up loving Mashle, ive been championing the manga since it came out. Even the manga author was surprised the series got an anime, i think he said something like "I honestly didn't think I'd make it this far" on Twitter

I like how they established early on with the Dumbledore that he isn’t invincible. You never know what’ll happen after that.
  • Cream puff. Also, Mash is a likable character because he's technically fighting for change against a massive societal structure while also being absolutely right. Don't know man, I probably just like protagonists that are good people.

Even if Mash has some of the qualities of a Gary Stu I don't care. Just seeing all the creative ways he'd literally brute force his way through problems in the Manga never failed to make me laugh. One of my favorites is when a mage trapped him and a metal box and he literally made a door in it by poking holes with his finger and then proceeded to trap the caster in it.

I definitely wasn’t too interested in the premise when I saw the commercials for Mashle, but you’ve successfully convinced me to check it out.

Mash stands for M- Mob, A- Asta, S- Saitama and H- Harry lul and this creampuff muscle head is awesome and loved the comedy plus the characters even though some of the gags dragged on sometimes too long but started reading it early on and stuck with it pretty happy the author was able to end it on his terms I feel and hope. Not to mention the anime is back from it's first part/cour and I recommend you Witch Hat Atelier Kamen to try out.
  • Mash kinda reminds me Yu Narukami. Mainly the hair. Also having watched Food Wars. That show’s cast would fucking go nuts if they saw Mash make any meal into a cream puff.
  • @claytonrios1
It's like if Saitama and Asta combined and formed a character who has the best aspects of both.
  • @Arcademan09
One thing I'm really happy about the anime is that they were pretty faithful to the manga's art, sometimes when it's adapted we lose things
  • @-Raylight
He's the Harry Spotter, the boy who lift. I just love seeing the "shock" reactions when he deflected or beat them all without magics. Saitama would be proud xD Also Lemon is adorable!!

I think what made Mashle great was how ABSURD his solution to the issue at hand. That's how the series keeps on giving. One of the best running joke was that he usually carry a shovel in case he wanted to or accidentally killed someone. Another best thing about Mashle was his rebuttal trash talk or action. For someone who barely talks at all, his comeback was like Katt Williams level of roast against a villain.
  • @Necronner
Mash reminds me of Captain Carrots sword in Discworld. In that universe, Carrot has a completely mundane iron sword. Not particulary sharp, just well maintained by Carrot. In fact the sword is specifically stated that there is NO magical properties to it at all, and there in lies the issue. In the Discworld, everyone and everything has even just a little bit of magic in it. The weapon having NOTHING magical makes the sword especially REAL in the Discworld. Allowing Carrot to do things with it worthy of a "king", like thrusting the sword INTO a stone.

You timed this video perfectly with the release season 2 of mashle.
  • @stuckerfan2563
I also loved how he's also a smart fighter. Like he has high combat intellect
  • I think the best part of mashle is that, the manga really seems you the gags with some amazingly drawn panels
