  • So, so happy you're okay! Praise God from whom all blessings flow. And you are certainly one of his blessings. Merry Christmas, Cowboy Kent and Shan and all the pups. ❤️💚❤️
  • Kent, my dad was an Okie from Eastern Oklahoma and he always called it "sal-mon". I had the salmon discussion with him several times as I grew up. His response was like yours. If the L was supposed to be silent it wouldn't be in there. Great job sir!!! 😃👍
  • My Aunt is a nurse. Believe me when I say, Mr. Rollins, that your kind words definitely matter to them. 😊 So glad to hear it went well and you're doing better. Hope you continue to enjoy good health, good family, and great food.
  • @jgirard13
Cowboy Kent is a national treasure and must be protected at all cost!
  • I make my poor man's crab cakes with fake crab and diced shrimp. You can also mince up some shrimp to add to the mix, to make the ingredients stick together better. Works nicely with the egg as cake glue. Also use a little panko breadcrumbs in the filling so I can control the flavor of the mix better. Panko doesn't have any flavor like regular breadcrumbs. Next time I make these, I'm going to add a can of minced crab to my mix. Thanks, Ken and Shannon, for another great video. BTW: I had ablation surgery in June 2020. Sounds like a scary procedure, but either I was going to die and go to Heaven, or I was going to survive. A win-win either way! ✝🙏🏻 So thankful to God that your procedure was successful also!!!
  • My favorite part of this is Shannon's heckling. Makes it feel like a real family experience.
  • My husband had an oblation in 2009. It was the freakiest thing he had ever experienced because he was awake for the entire thing, including when they stopped his heart and restarted it. I'm praying that yours is more successful than my husband. His failed after 2-3 years. Best wishes to you both.
  • I love some good crab cakes! This looks good Kent. I am so glad all our prayers were answered for your good health. Keep taking care of yourself. I know Shannon and the pups will take great care of you. Have a great day and God Bless!
  • I had never heard Worcestershire sauce as "where's your sister sauce" before a previous video of yours, I liked it so much then that I've adopted it myself and use it regularly. Glad you're doing well cowboy Kent and thanks for the new video
  • Kent and Shannon, your production standards are amazing. The lighting, bokeh focus, sound, fun add ins etc. love to see you reinvesting in your business. It shows.
  • Thank the lord Jesus for answering prayers! Glad you are feeling better and back at it Kent! I’ll continue to keep you in my prayers.
  • You started to tell us of your secret dipping sauce. Our "poor man" cocktail sauce was about a 1/4 cup catsup (that's because cats enjoy catsup on their food so much) with a teaspoon of prepared horseradish. I'm not sure but you may know if horses do indeed like to eat horseradish.
  • Kent, so sorry to hear that you have been unwell. I really hope that you are recovering. In the last 5 years I also been suffering a bit and spending a fair bit of time in the hospital. An example, 2018, during 5 separate visits , I spent a total of 87 days in hospital. Cancer, cancer surgery, cancer treatment, treatment for cancer treatment…..you get the idea ! In the whole 5 year span, I had problems with just 3 people, and it was taken care of. Even the visiting cats liked me. I didn’t like the bills I got, but something you have to live through. $1.68 million for 1 6 month period. So look after yourselves. Sincerely Rod
  • Mmmm... now I know what's on the ol' menu this weekend! More importantly, I'm incredibly happy to hear that you're doing well my friend! All the best to you and yours Kent!
  • @NolaDeb
Praise the Lord! I do appreciate what the nurses and medical support teams do!!! Thank them All. Glad you're doing well. Continued prayers for a full recovery. ✝️
  • Kent I'm a native of Baltimore. Just a suggestion, we ALWAYS serve our crabcakes on saltine crackers. Try it, you'll be a believer. We used to catch blue channel crabs on a trot line in the bay using a trot line with stuff like chicken necks, parts etc. Some folks used crab traps, but we'dget a bushel a day. Either way, crab cakes are my fav.meal, with those onion burgers a clise second. Yeah I was stationed at Ft Sill a few years
  • grew up on the eastern shore of maryland and still live near the headquarters of mccormick spices so im gonna pass on this recipe, i can make crab cakes in my sleep lol but your recent fried chicken breast recipe with the buttermilk has become a new staple in my house, thank you for upping my chicken game
