Bro, I just wanted to say, I think you're videos are awesome!!!! It's a real crime you don't get more views...I'll never understand why some jackass making reaction videos, gets a billion views. But someone making real heart and soul videos doesn't!!!! You're unique style of telling the story and funny little animations always put a smile on my face. Thank you so much. 🤩👍👍👍👍👍

When Yoshiki Okamoto was told to create a racing game for Konami he instead worked in secrecy on Gyruss. He prepped up a "dummy" to show off progression to his boss. Then the day came where he had to come clean and his boss was not amused at all but the STG got released anyway. Now after Gyruss quickly became a success his superior took credit by telling his own boss it was his idea. Okamoto overheard that and was of course sad about that. I think there was another instance (before or after that) with the excat same outcome. That's when Okamoto decided to leave Konami and go to Capcom. He never made a fuss about it. Many years later he was struggling on something. He got laughed at by some colleagues in the industry for that. Fast forward, he made billions with Monster Strike. Again, he never backlashed on those who laughed him off. He showed class! Although he was rich while those struggling with their projects. Let that sink in. When I became aware of that he was one of the two planners of one of my favourite platformers, SonSon2, I thanked him on his official channel for that game and that I still own it as someone living in Germany. He actually answered me from his private channel that he was very glad to hear that I like SonSon2 so much. Needless to say that I was awestruck and losfer words. I couldn't believe that he took his time to answer me.

Great series!!! I love your video style. It's so distinct. I always loved the CAPCOM 1940's series. But I always wondered how a game based on the defeat of the Japanese in WW2, became so beloved in it's home country of Japan? Very educational and fun to watch. This is a video I will definitely watch over and over again. Great work, Bro.

Omg!!! I have been trying to find you again for so long. I couldn’t remember your new channel name. So glad I did. I’ll have to catch up again. See you on the next one.

1942 started a great series, but it is so curious considering the historical context - imagine a series that pits the protagonists against the US lol. I didnt know about the GBC port of 1942 will have to check that one out. Great job, really hope this wonderful series continues!!!

I'd like to see documentation of arcade designers by name. They are literally obscured under the banner of the parent company.

I had no idea the levels in 1942 were based on actual battles!

The pirate captain “Bousu” doesn’t actually have a name. His title is a bad transliteration of “Boss”. This happened again in the NES semi-sequel, where the ship mini-boss is named “Biado”, an mis-transliteration of Beard, as in Blackbeard.
  • @Jay-dk6hf
Hey i hope you fiinish this series, really well done.
  • @Vampier
Currently working - looking forward to give this a good viewing later on today 😀
