I wonder how many fans thought they would actually get to see both the "USS Enterprise-A" and the "HMS Bounty Bird of Prey" again after all of these years.
  • Seeing USS Voyager like that is like suddenly seeing your childhood home for the first time in years
  • @rdbull5890
"I was reborn there" just hits you right in the feels.

Who didn’t get choked up when seeing Voyager, hearing the theme, and 7 saying “she made her name further out there” Ugh This show was a love letter to the golden age of Trek

The swell of horns playing the Voyager theme, it takes me back.

It's amazing how even after all these years, the Enterprise-A is still utterly beautiful.

I was so touched by Seven's feelings toward the USS Voyager. Jack is right. Enterprise-A is definitely a beauty.

They hit ALL of the feels with this season. I wish those running Star Wars had shown this kind of love for the stories and legacies of the characters in that universe.
  • "The poetic drive-by observation." Jeri, the way you said that made me love Seven even more.
  • Such a strange emotion, seeing the Enterprise-A silent and forever sleeping. Knowing the Federation is in danger but her crew is gone, her decks silent, that she will never again answer the call. It really helps me reconcile the destruction of the original, knowing she died in battle saving her crew. So great to see all these ships again!

Any trek fan who grew up on any of the series that these hero ships were in would absolutely have tears in their eyes at this scene... incredible nostalgia so well done

You can feel all of Seven's memories flashing across her mind as she stares at Voyager. The ship and crew etched into her nanoprobes.
  • Ahhhh this scene is truly a love letter, especially the themes playing in the background. I'm surprised Jack hasn't heard of Voyager though.

Always loved the Constitution Refit, "Kirk's Enterprise" as Jack says. She really did have the best lines of a ship. Like Jack, I love the Connie series.
  • Jack really did sum up my feelings towards the ships when I was a kid. I didnt give a damn about Star Trek until I became an adult, but I always loved the ship designs.

I saw Star Trek VI 6 times in the theater between opening night and spring of 92 when I was 14 years old and never thought I'd see the "A" again. When this aired after this scene I had to pause the episode and think about how much had changed from then until now. This season of Picard isn't just full of moments like this. It's full of personal nostalgia for everyone that's lived and enjoyed Star Trek. This is another landmark in all our lives of great story telling and visuals that make us look forward to the next. This is truly the best Star Trek season in almost 20 years. It's delightful.

Jeri Ryan perfectly channeling Seven from. 22+ years ago, but also showing her growth as an individual in the time since. She's still there but also much more human
