Welcome to my channel! I'm Shannon. I'll be taking you around my home and showing you my full plant collection (rare and common).

Please bear with any shaky footage or wonky audio as I navigate my first video. I'm working hard to learn how to create quality content, so hopefully future videos will only improve!

I'd love for you to join my little plant family and follow my houseplant journey as I share plant tips, learn new skills, and do some fun shopping, hauls, and plant tours. I hope to one day experiment more with plants and explore things like moss poles, semi-hydro growing, grafting, and tissue culture. So if that interests you, hopefully you'll stick around for some exciting future adventures. :)

This is meant to be a fun and positive space. Any negative and hateful comments will be deleted and the person leaving the comment will be blocked.

Thanks for watching!

It doesn't matter that you have very similar content. It's your personality that people will follow. There are SEVERAL content creators I just can't listen to, even though their info and plants are amazing. Have no fear! Just post!

It’s so much fun seeing houseplant tours! I love the look of your golden pothos intertwined on the curtain rod much better than the single strand held on by plant clips along a wall. It just looks more natural. Beautiful collection!

Yes please give me all the pon videos...especially transferring alocasia (cuz I'm planning to do all of mine...). Your "green velvet" is actually an Alocasia micholitziana (non-variegated frydek). Great first video, Shannon!
  • Congrats on your first video! I’m excited to follow along your journey 😊

Hello, I love your video. Please make more❀
  • I didn’t know other people recorded videos and never posted them! πŸ˜‚ I love the windows in your kitchen. I have to laugh I was just looking at my propagation window and I heard myself say- oh no not another golden pothos! I just made 2 moss poles out of one hanging pot (neighbor kid and I are going to compete until fair time to see who gets bigger leaves) and I put the leftover pieces back in the pot and still have a full plant!

Hello, from Kyiv Ukraine! I am subscribed. Most of us will never have the collection like Sidney Plant Guy. And don't get me wrong, I love his chanel, but it is so interesting to see how a smaller plant collectors like me do worldwide. You plant collection is not big, but interesting to see. I have just one or two plants that are same with yours, so everything is new and interesting to me. I would love to have a Baltic Blue Potos, but can't find it somwhy. May be they sell it here under some other name. Your Manjula and Hoyas are 🀩 And I also use not growlights but led light lamps. It is 4 times cheaper and easy to replace. All of my plants love it. Good luck!

Tradescantia need to be refreshed every two years, i.e. grown again from cuttings. That's how they roll. The lower leaves always seen to dry up. Expecting anything else from them is just asking to be slapped in the face by disappointment πŸ˜
