Did anyone else think that the thumbnail was implying that he was just gonna put a square piece of metal on and use it, and was slightly disappointed when you realized he had slightly more common sense than that? Just me?

There's 7 minutes and 32 seconds of my life I'm never getting back

That’s a great idea because angle grinders aren’t already dangerous enough. We should make our own untested blades.

If you feel like having too many spare fingers, eyes and other body parts, just go ahead and do what you have just seen. Otherwise, do NOT use a cutting disc for grinding and wear gloves while your hands come close to a rotating power tool.
  • Do that if your safety doesn’t mean anything to you. But if you care about your safety you will choose a different way to cut wood. There are many ways to do that, using an angle grinder with a certified cutting disc is one of most dangerous, doing it with something you did with your hands is a really Darwin Award!

Used this tip but didn’t have any scrap plate steel laying around so I grabbed a sharpie and cut a 4 inch hole out of the center of my Viking refrigerator. My wife isn’t speaking to me and we can’t keep perishable goods anymore but I have this killer stainless grinding disc now. I was cutting some 1/4” plywood with it in the garage earlier! Fkn outstanding upload thanks 🙏
  • @DaRuler66
Probably costs more than buying actual cutting discs 😂

No one would do such crazy things on a super fast motor in this age where everything is cheap. It is painful that so many people follow a person who publishes such a video

I had a lot of old pipes and rebar to cut up and from what I read youtube.com/post/UgkxPDBfLu68o58Aw85O_J-zIFfjJARBh… this would be the tool for the job. Since I had never used one, I watched a couple of youtube videos and I'm so glad I did. Some really good safety tips, which I followed, and this tool did a splendid job. One good thing to know is the weight of the tool puts just about the right amount of pressure on the metal I was cutting, so I didn't have to use a lot of pressure, which is more likely to jam the tool. It made fast work of my job.

Next video will be at the hospital's intensive care unit😂😂😂😂....

An interesting exercise in how to make a wood cutting disc if all else fails and there’s nothing within miles to cut with….but even then it just means you came unprepared to the job site. Oscillating multi tools, jig saws, cut off 3” disc saws, circular saws….hell even a coping blade I was use before this.

You cannot be serious I don’t think any company will be stopping production any time soon in favour of this 😱😱

If you think spending €3 on a disc is too much but also think spending half an hour making a tool that won’t last 3 minutes, doesn’t cut properly and will grenade itself because of blunt cutting faces then this guys got a blinding invention for you.
