Zola was/is my mom basically. She left me and my brother in Jamaica while she was here working for a wealthy family in New Jersey. Needless to say after about 10 yrs working faithfully for the family. They helped her get us visas so we can come to their beautiful country when I was 11 yrs old. Needless to say the rest is history as I ended up joining the Marines, defending her in Fallujah back in 04!!

2:38 I got to this point and thought "wait a minute- this sounds familiar" I looked it up, and sure enough, I've read the book this was based on. The book is actually surprisingly good and I remember that the relationship between Kyle and Will was a strong point in the story, and I'm surprised the movie doesn't seem to touch on it as much, but maybe that's just not shown in the recap. It definitely had a big impact on Kyle's character development.

How exactly is Kyle ugly? He still has a nice proportional facial structure and anatomy. The witch should've turn him into Sloth from the Goonies or Roy Lee Dennis... or even better, Jabba the Hut.
