Here's a short video of my Formula after my motor swap. It got a 383 LT1 with an Edelbrock performer air gap 58mm intake, hotcam and the bulletproof MSD optispark. Other upgrades are 410 rear gears with a detroit locker, SLP coated stainless headers with loudmouth 1 all the way back, Edelbrock adjustable coilovers, and a stage 3 clutch. I have owned this car for ten years, and the motor had about 170K miles on it before It lost oil pressure at idle, and blew a head gasket, but even with these problems, it was still drivable, and it still did great burnouts. I am going to build a 396 with the original motor.

LT's are great engines. My '96 Vettes LT4 has 213K on it, I dropped in a HOT CAM and have been running with C5s and C6s no problem.

Yup. I just completed the LTCC kit, so now it runs on coil packs. Smooth as glass at all rpm ranges.

You won't find them already measured and booted for this setup. These are custom fitted and I did them myself. It is quite easy to do. I just did the LTCC setup, so I took these wires out.
  • I want to get a 383 kit for my LT1. I have a CC503 cam in my car rn. It would be awesome!!!

Not sure. I had the motor builder just add it to the 383 motor, because I needed the factory intake for a project I am doing with the original motor. So I never had the edelbrock intake on the factory LT1.

Wasted money on that edelbrok intake. Stock one is good up to 600hp with a port job that usually costs $200.
