I'm glad someone said it! Shooting in a priority mode does not make you a bad photographer, the setting is there for a reason

Great video. Thanks. I agree with you on all those tips. However a few portraits shot on the Sony 50mm f1.2 would be a nice addition to the 24-70 f2.8.

Gear does not matter, it just makes it easier. Knowing how to get the results that will make you happy is what matters. If that's shooting on an iPhone in auto mode, so be it. I know plenty of people who have their own wedding shot on everyone else's iPhone, and then everyone shares their photos and videos in one central place, and its a more personalized experience for the couple when they look back. People forget, your not selling photography, you're selling memories.
  • Thanks, I use Manual with auto ISO to control A and S. I’ll try Av mode, I didn’t know that there is minimum shutterspeed setting.
  • Totally agree what you said in this video, especially the last rule! When I shoot with Mirrorless, I'm happy and I know I can rely on it.

Do you use 2 camera bodies for weddings?

Do you mean a mirrorless instead of a DSLR? It’s a genuine question, how is a mirrorless improves the focusing experience over a DSLR? I liked the video, interesting topics 👌

The only genre of photography I've seen actively changing the iso is landscape and astro For most other types of shooting auto iso with some exposure compensation is perfect.
  • I found my new favourite YouTuber, I’ll give you a follow as well. I’m a wedding photographer from Canada

Oh girl you made me happy with this list, AV mode should be the only mode everyone should use!
