Hytale - RiotX Arcane: Epilogue | Making Games From the Heart

I forgot Riot purchased Hytale a while back, but this is still such a nice surprise :D

Even though Hypixel Studios is now part of Riot, it feels like it's still it's own indie studio interacting with the community. Great job so far! I'm sure the wait will be worth it!

People have been complaining for years that the games are coming out incomplete, these people want to deliver a Complete game and the same people hate it because they are lasting too long

Its pretty cool how LoL came from dota and became so massive. Hytale is looking like it can do the same. Being the next big minecraft or roblox to a newer generation is MASSIVE. Riot knows what theyre doing so I have high hopes!

When Hytale releases, I swear someone will build a whole replica of Pilltover and Zaun.

I was already on board for original hytale, but man i was not expecting this combo with Riot games, i love league and i love minecraft and i really cant wait to have more tools to express myself and play with others!

Man, it's been so long since I've last heard the word "Hytale". 3-4 years ago was when I got hyped up for it when I was playing bedwars with my friends. Our passion for Minecraft since had died down and we parted ways with each other. Hopefully this will reignite the love for Minecraft back then and get to play it again with them.

This game looks even more incredible every time I see new images or footage of it. I am drooling over those combat mechanics!

Considering how Micro$oft has treated Mojang recently, its refreshing to see how this is going. Indie, passion project, with a respect for the initial spirit of the game. I fully support the decision to take the extra time and funding to make a better game, instead of endlessly trying to patch up the original concept. Can't wait for the inevitable release!

When I saw the Hytale trailer back in late December of 2018, I fell in love with it ever since and I've had the strong desire to play it!! Still waiting and right now the count is 3 years and around a month now.

Right now Hytale has almost 60 million views on its trailer, which is absolutely massive for a game trailer. There are definitely big expectations on this game due to it being a spiritual sequel to Minecraft. I'm curious about how this game is going to turn out. I firmly believe the Minecraft formula can be improved upon, as even if it is an absolute titan of video game history, it was developed as a pretty experimental game, with a lot of decisions that are not necessarily optimals (I think in particular of the Survival mode, which is pretty unbalanced).

Riot has my trust to not fuck this over for Hytale and actually be a really good support for them. Some people will bring League into this, but let's be honest, at this point making champions unbalanced is a marketing strategy. It is also a different genre of game... Anyway, I hope Hytale does really well and can't wait for more updates!

This is exactly what the gaming community needs! More modding and creativity! Riot is picking up what Blizzard threw away and making it better than ever!
