Greetings from a Catholic person. I respect the teachings of Islam.
  • Our Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him said: "There is no superiority for an Arab over a non-Arab, nor for a non-Arab over an Arab. Neither is the white superior over the black, nor is the black superior over the white -- except by piety." الله أكبر ، ديننا طيب الحمدلله

As an afro-American Christian American, I always come back to this letter to remind people that many of our greatest leaders in America were Muslim. Though I may not practice, I do fast for Ramadan in solidarity with my brothers and sisters. We are all one people, and anyone who has the humility to worship a higher power and greet others in peace has my respect. Salute to all my Muslim brothers and sisters

I am watching this after the tragic death of George Floyd, and it is so sad how much of what Malcolm X said here still rings true today. America is burning right now from disease, from hate, and from injustice. We all must go back onto the straight path if we want to see any good here in this world and the next. May Allah grant Malcolm X jannah and ease the pain of the oppressed, Ameen.

This letter touched me, he’s so right racism and classism is built into so many religions but Islam mashallah brings every human together in brotherhood and sisterhood.

I'm a pacific islander from Samoa and I was brought up a catholic, I was always taught by the media to hate Islam until I moved to Australia and have many Muslim friends and have met a lot of them and have nothing but love towards the people and religion.

Malcolm X came from Mecca another man. He became tolerant, passionate, and more happy. Islam is the answer for all the world and the positivities of Islam should be spread among all people so they can see the beauty of this religion

I remember when I was a child my late father telling us about Malcolm X ,and how they met in London . Their correspondence continued until the end of Malcolm’s life . I remember how very sad he was on receiving the news of his assassinaton, but he wasn’t surprised, and he read to us the last letter he got from him , where he wrote saying “ they are after me , it won’t be long before they get me “ and they did . Sadly after the passing of my father many years latter, we looked for the letters , but unfortunately, we couldn’t allocate them . My father was a prominent Palestinian academic, and he always used to talk to us about Malcolm X with enormous love and respect. May both Rest In Peace .
