Kate Hudson Covers “Voices Carry” Live on the Stern Show

DAMN! DAMN! DAMN! What the hell has she been waiting for? The lady has an amazing voice, and great stage presence!!! Why has she not been singing her entire career?

Her inner circle for years has known she has a great voice, she finally felt ready to show the rest of us....nailed it!!

WHAT? Where has her voice been all this time? She's an amazing actress. Why hasn't she done more with this beautiful talent. What in the world is she waiting for.😀♥️

Ok, I don't even know where to begin. First, that shows she's got great taste in music. I don't think I have ever heard anyone else sing that song. It is one of the best songs of the 80s (any era, actually) and so underappreciated, in my opinion. Secondly, that anyone would even attempt to sing that Aimee classic almost seems sacrilege, but Kate absolutely nailed it and OMG I hope it is on her new album because that just might be my new favorite song!!! I loved it that much! She managed to preserve the feel of the song which I would have thought impossible. And she stayed so true to the original while also somehow making it sound completely original, fresh and new! I am absolutely impressed!!!

I love this song ... I'm a gen x er and grew up with 80s music. I remember the first time I heard it and just two years ago I added the song to my playlist (I was 49 at the time). Kate Hudson does a great job here... that said, the original is a classic! Thank you!!
