  • They grew up and matured by always being surrounded by staff who kept them company instead of their family members and BTS have always appreciated the people around them without using the card of being above everyone as many artists do....THANKS for this BEN❤💜

From my understanding most of the makeup artists and stylist have been with BTS since the beginning so they are like family now. They started blurring their faces when army grew and some intense armies actually approached some of the stylists outside of work and harass them. So to protect their identities they now either dont show them or blur them out to protect them. They should show the ones where the members will run from the stylists or the one where they dragged JK on his chair to the other side of the room to get his hair and makeup done lol. These were wholesome moments but there are funny ones too lol

My cousin did makeup for J-Hope at Lollapalooza. She has a portfolio of working with people with non-white skin. She was local, not on the staff. Her challenge was the heat, the extreme heat in Chicago that day, plus the lights on the stage. It's a good thing he has beautiful skin. She mainly focused on eyes, using waterproof makeup that wouldn't run in sweat, and re-doing it at break. I'm sure they had references for her.

I used to be stylist who needs to do those for artists in shootings, it’s not a simply touch up job, it’s a whole day you need to follow them keep your eyes on their hair or makeup or clothes. From beginning set up until wrap up you’re with all the crews, it’s all about speed and skills. Sometimes I saw people said they wanted to do the job to just simply pat on their face or fix the clothes which didn’t change much different, I felt again we shouldn’t judge people’s job just because you didn’t did before. Great respect to all the staff who worked with them 🫡

One make up artist said that she quit the job cause she felt in love with JIMIN 😂 she can’t work there anymore
  • The guys, especially early on, would fall asleep while in hair and makeup because they rarely got more than 2 or 3 hours sleep at a time. The stylists have always been so good to them.
  • i feel like i'm really jobless its literally 4:59 in the morning and im watching this ben i hope you know the impact of your videos

My favorite one of Jimin that should have been in this is when he is stretching and like turning hips round going left and right while the make up artist is putting blush powder on his cheeks its so cute and funny. Theres a lot of jimin and staff moments very sweet cute funny theres a compilation
  • I sometimes feel bad for the stylist because bts can be so hyper 😂😂😂😅💜💜
  • @nell00
Their stylists are very patient...this video just makes our boys even more endearing, if that is possible. They already seem sweet.
  • @alter_gwii
Those stylists be living the life.😊
  • Their staff takes care of them like they are the parents of BTS...makeup, hair, managers everyone takes care of Bangtan like their own children

I'm a makeup-artist, hairstylist and fashion stylist. Educated. My dream job would be to do artists makeup, which I've been doing for over 10 years now but in Sweden. It's not a easy job tho, you have to ALWAYS be around, be ready and have all your tools with you all the time. You follow from morning to night, sometimes you change both clothes, makeup and hair like 10 times during the day... so it takes a lot of effort and time to make them look good ALL the time. Quick fixes can be that the stylist sees a hair on the face or the concealer is too much under the eyes through a camera, so we have to be really quick with a Q-tip and remove it. We monitor everything together with the others until the set is done. I miss you BEN!!!!/ OPIE

5:33 a makeup artist actually quit working for BTS because she fell in love with Jimin😂
  • @brendamiller5785
Isnt there a story about a hairstylist who quit her job because she said there was a serious chance of falling in love with Jimin?

The polite leg stance is also called manner leg or manner stance. You see it a lot with Asian (I’ve seen it in Chinese, Korean, and Japanese events predominantly) actors who are taking pictures with female co-stars during premieres so that their heads are at the same eye-line without the female resorting to outrageously (read: dangerously) high heels. I have also seen male actors and musicians do it as well with other men who happen to be shorter but it is not as common there. It is also frequently used behind the scenes in dramas or music videos simply because the stylist or make up team is shorter and as Ben pointed out, need to see what they are doing quickly. It is not common at all in the west (although I have seen a couple actors do it, not to ignore or discount those who are thoughtful or kind enough to do it.) but it is a very courteous “habit” or “custom” (the line on those two blur in this instance) none the less.
