Trumpet Lamp Photogrammetry

I've been watching a National Geographic special where they use photogrammetry to assemble single pictures from different viewpoints into one 3d wire mesh. This was my first try using a lamp I made from an old trumpet. You can see on the back of the lamp where I had to be further away and take larger steps the resolution gets very rough. If you notice the base of the lamp in the beginning it actually looks pretty good. I'm going to calibrate my cell phone camera and post another image when it is complete. In this configuration the software below is totally free. Good to play with.
