Thank you very much for this video. I am just starting/toying with the Wim Hof breathing method and I noticed it released a rush of adrenaline, which was not exactly welcome because I have very bad general anxiety. It even made my ears ring. But a few minutes after I was done, I felt very calm and invigorated. I've been concerned about trying it again, as I don't want to aggravate my anxiety levels. I'll try again slowly, the way you suggested. Thank you.
  • Honestly it's one of the few things besides tons of exercise that literally helps with my anxiety too. A natural relief and very long lasting and even rippling into other days. The 4 rounds of 30 about 1.5-2m+ of breath hold. For cold, I just do cold-only showers which strangely get easier and mentally you realize it's not dangerous and won't hurt you but heal you. Years of wim hof, I found a love for some cold exposure daily.

maybe it has some therapeutic effect, that you have to accept that there is a force that makes you dip yourself into the ice cold pool every day :) at least this is what I do. I had been having anxiety for a long time, but it was over when the subject of my inner fear became real. I've been just sad ever since. the wim hof method doesn't help me with that but it gives me an extra support. and I am sure it has some great health benefits as well. I’m not saying it doesn’t help with anxiety just unfortunately I couldn't try out.
