If you are reading this at night, you should get some sleep, and don't stress about everything going on in the world, or what you are going through. When I was a child, whenever it rained my mum would wake my brother, sister and me up (my dad worked night),turn off all the lights and turn the sofa to face the windows. We would all sit there with hot chocolate and listen to the storm while waiting to see the lightning, we lived on a hill and could see for miles. We all grew up to absolutely love thunderstorms and do similar things with our children. I found out recently that my mum hated them and was terrified but by waking us up and pretending she loved them she found she could cope.

I told my son what I listen to for sleep,he first called it weird ,but, now he does not go to bed without it. Grew up in Jamaica listening to the rain on zinc roofing, outside the window, on glass. Whichever one works for me. I have severe insomnia. Self diagnosed, haven't slept much couple a days now. 8:54 am on a Sunday morning. Cooking my Sunday dinner in Florida. This will help me fall asleep within the next hour as my dinner is almost done. Love it loads and thanks much.

It dawned on me recently that my dog has gotten over her fear of bad weather as a result of me turning these videos on to help my sleep. Now when there is disruption she is unfazed. Last night there were 2 earthquakes and she was quiet and calm. Thank you really.... double thank you.
