Mercy sitting on the payload: "I have mastered the ability of standing so incredibly still that I become invisible to the eye"
  • Top 500 Mercy: Fucking zoom the entire map while dodging bullets, missiles, and tactical nukes Bottom 500 Mercy: Afk on cart so still that the enemy doesn't realize you exist
  • As a mercy main, 100% accurate we get off to blastering a widow back to the depths of hell
  • @Aftertaste_
Enemy 1: "Shouldn't we kill that Mercy that's just sitting on the payload?" Enemy 2: "Nah, she's not hurting anyone."
  • @superfund42
My best advice for Mercy is never stop moving. NEVER. STOP. MOVING.

Supports: Save themselves by not rescuing out of position teammate Teammate surrounded by enemy: "HEALERS NOH HEAL 😤"

21:37 The Sombra not killing a point blank Junkrat who's standing still in his ult is frankly impressive.

Unfortunately, this Mercy has probably been told by their Diamond friends "Sit on cart" just to make sure they're out of the way of the actual fights. Because the Diamond players wouldn't be fighting on the cart like Bronze

I have a feeling this Mercy was told "PUSH THE CART, STAY ON CART" constantly when attacking which resulted in the idea that "I must never leave cart or else I am not contributing to the team". But yeah, as a Mercy player if you stop moving you will die (or at least, even if you die while moving around it won't always be your fault), so I agree with everyone else and just never stop moving around. This goes for most OW heroes as well.
  • the mercy practically looking at the ground the entire time made my tummy hurt
  • It kinda feels like this person was told "yeah just stay near cart and heal" and they took that very literally.

Watching this Mercy not bluebeam a SINGLE TIME when there's a half-decent Junkrat RIGHT THERE 😭😭😭

Never stop moving as Mercy. Not once. If you see their Mercy not moving? Destroy them. Also, a large part of this weirdly felt like the camera was drifting more to the floor than the horizon or slightly higher. There is no hero who will come out of the ground, so keeping the view a little higher will help awareness as well as movement.

Mercy Pepe from the thumbnail is precious and must be protected at all cost.

I remember a while back when Symmetra's turrets healing allies was an idea that was talked about. I imagine that it would've looked something like this
  • As a former Mercy main who's become more of a support/tank flex, Flats' comment about Mercy's survivability is spot-on. Be the unkillable mosquito that keeps your team alive.
  • Legit had someone yelling at me the other day to not help my Ana claiming "it's stupid to have a healer heal the other healer"

I’m far from the best Mercy - but I can tell you this is exactly how I played when I started. I’m a 40 yr old woman and OW is the first comp-pvp type game I’ve ever played. I was terrified of playing games like that out of fear of letting my team down and getting yelled at. I’m so glad my friends bullied me into playing. I hardly get yelled at anymore 😅

PSA: the game doesn't advertise it very well, but there is a training mode that lets you group with others to fight against an AI team. You can even select from three difficulty modes. If you are brand new to shooters (which this Mercy seems to be) please try out that mode.
