  • I’m just in love with these the gorgeous leaves are breathtaking I’ve now got hundreds of plants in my house & I can’t help myself I’m addicted to being surrounded with beauty 🥰
  • This really helped me understand my prayer plant. I always thought they liked the sun but noticed that the leaves would be folded during the day and they would open wide at night. I now know I have to move my plant and I am also going to try and root and pot some of it since it is looking crowded. Thank You!

GORGEOUS Maranta!! I have one and it's almost died on me at least three times!! This Summer I almost lost her to Spider mites and, so I took it out of soil, placed it in water for a few months, in this time I applied insecticidal soap and once I saw that there were no more Spider mites, I repotted it and placed it in front of my Southeast-facing, and now it's thriving!! Can't wait yo propagate it!!❤❤❤

I just bought 2 of these and I love it, watching this video to gain some insight and I just love your way of speaking and your accent, I could listen to you all day!

They, along with Calatheas, do best when given distilled water, it prevents some of the brown tipping. They are such beautiful plants❣️
  • I find this maranta very easy going & easy to live with :-) Sits happily on a cupboard and doesn´t require much. What a beautiful collection of marantas you have :-)

I am so glad I found your channel! I brought home a clipping from the work plant to trim it back, so it still looked beautiful on the counter. The work mama has 2-3 inch leaves and mine have 7" leaves! It is growing like a weed. I needed to know how to propagation as it is now so long that it is sitting on the floor from the table lol. Thank you so much!

What a fantastic video! I loved all the clips of progress shots, so helpful. I'm about an hour south of you and just bought one of these - happy to hear it likes our Western WA weather 😁

Thanks for the video. I have one of these that came back from one leaf! I have found I need to water little but often, keeping it damp and using a gravel tray underneath with water really helps with the browning of the leaves.
  • @lalabirdbrains

This was one of the most informative Prayer Plant videos I’ve seen! Thank you! My Red Maranta just put out two flowers and it also have leaves popping up randomly out of the soil that I was curious about. You answered all my questions, subscribed!

These are really easy plants to love. I recently watched a video of a pro greenhouse nursery grower propagating these from just a single leaf with it's stem that he cut close to the main vine and he was just jabbing them in the six pack seedling flats with plain potting soil. So I'm trying a few from mine to see how it goes. You could get a lot of new plants off of even a small vine. These are amazing plants.
