If you had to rank every YGO anime up to this point, what would ya'll order be?
  • I won’t lie, this was one of the most sincerely terrifying things to see happen in yugioh. A bunch of innocent kids kidnapped and used for experimentation to create the ignis. And revolver and soulburner’s duel permanently lived rent free in my head. “They aren’t gone. They’ve just gone on ahead of you”. Shit had me tearing up as it was just after my Grampa passed away, so it holds a special place in my heart

If what i head was right, an interesting fact about vrains is that the person who wrote the duels for the anime absolutely hated writing duels for soulburner because salamangreat was such a good deck he found it near impossible to put soulburner in loosing situations without making him get super unlucky or play like an idiot. As a side note thats one of my favorite parts of vrains almost every "anime deck" from this series is actually competent and playable including some being meta at one point which is pretty rare for anime decks
  • Might add something but Vrains story is not somehow over and is unironically continuing it's canon story in the mobile YuGiOh game, Duel Links.

VRAINS until episode 46 was a masterpiece + ending duel/ceremonial duel was the probably the best in the series. My problem with VRAINS is that we didn't see Yusaku's personality that much until Ai's arc(I understand he has trauma and everything but still,he felt like an bootleg Yusei at some point) Revolver and Lightning were both decent villains and rivals but Bohman? He was probably one of the most boring characters I've seen in any anime :/ I loved VRAINS but still it felt like it ended sooo quickly and should've been at least 140-150 episodes like the other spin offs

As someone who hasn't seen this anime: I find this plot to be incredibly convoluting and confusion

I have watch all episode in this series but it feels like this series is not over yet

While debatably canon, I do like how Duel LInks is continuing the story exactly where VRAINS left off, with them even going as far as confirming that Duel LInks is PART of VRAINS. AI claims he doesn't have any idea why he's back to life and while Yusaku reluctantly admits he did miss AI genuinely, he is more concerned about this new Duel links world and who built it and for what purpose. Soulburner is treated as the default protagonist though due to the major revelation with Playmaker. ARC-V and SEVENS also have stories that continue thier series in respect to Duel Links, with ARC-V focusing on all the dimensional counterparts regaining their memories while Deklan tries to figure out what's the deal with Duel links and if his father has anything to do with it. While most meetups are handled with forgiveness and apologies, they are worried about how Yuri will react if he's brought back. and Sevens is mostly a retelling of the Sevens story but with Duel links as the basis of defense rather than Rush duel, but the kids seem to be uncertain if the versions of them in Duel links are their real selves or just manifestations of them. The stories mostly end with Yuga explaining that this is Duel LInks, a different world and the memories of the other characters seem to return based on that. Zexal kind of does the same thing, retelling the story with Duel links in mind.

Correction on a few things. Aoi or Skye and Akira are biological siblings not in laws. Ryoken and Yusaku's first speed duel ends in a draw. While their first master duel ends in Ryoken losing. And this happens again to finish the Knights of Hanoi arc. The speed duel ends in a draw but the master duel ends in Ryoken losing. Windy got rid of his partner human.
  • Yu-Gi-Oh Vrains greatest gifts is all the busted Link monsters we got Chief among them is Accesscode talker the most used game finisher in TCG history.
  • @KingKasper is there anyway to send you the chapter for the yugioh project once it’s ready?
  • @kingcrimson4504
it's painfully obvious that the series is cut short mid production and they have to create a early ending
  • @newgiohguy3711
I love this show and honestly it's my favorite Yugioh show. I can not STAND the changes made to the English dub here more than any other Yugioh series
