Every Jarryd Hayne Moment (London 7s 2016)

Jarryd Hayne made his debut for Fiji in 2015, chasing his Olympic dream. Hayne was unfortunately not chosen to represent Fiji at the Olympics, because there was only a short time to learn and adapt to the sevens code/rules. He only played in one tournament, in London, which they won. Playing only the last 5 minutes of the second halves. In my opinion, if he had had a full series, we could've seen a vintage Hayne progress and bloom in the sevens scene. One of my most favourite players, Ever!

  • Shame that he didn't/couldn't play for another tournament. It would have been great to see him get his fitness up to 7s players levels. An exciting player with great vision on the field.

He's really good if given more game time. Just that it's his first tournament and there's lots of pressure for him to be a superstar and that's why he wasn't ready for it but if you'll at his defense is solid and the footwork will improve. Hopes he does try again for Fiji Rugby Union.

A super star in NRL giving everything to learn 7s and it takes courage to break into the Fiji 7 team with a lots of talent back home. Hats off to you him he tried.
  • If that’s how he played under little preparation against full timers that’s scary!
