Für sein Open-Air-Konzert auf Sizilien hat sich Stargeiger David Garrett einen spektakulären Ort ausgesucht: das antike Theater von Taormina mit Blick auf den Ätna. Dort spielt er Vivaldi, Schumann, Saint-Saëns, Kreisler und viele andere Komponisten in neuen Arrangements.
Begleitet wird David Garrett von seinem Gitarristen und Arrangeur Franck van der Heijden, dem Bassisten Rogier van Wegberg sowie dem „Orchestra del Teatro Vittorio Emanuele di Messina“ unter der Leitung von Gianna Fratta. Special guest: Matteo Bocelli. Das ZDF zeichnete das Spektakel im Juni auf.
