She’s great at her job. I kept a close eye on her officiating all season. And everyone was waiting for her to slip up. The NFL was aware of that and even with the extra attention on her, she did her job well.

So proud of her she’s a go getter a woman can be anything she wants to be in life
  • Bless you Sarah you are amazing. I watch you referee a lot of games. You are inspiration to us all.
  • I am sure the fans will probably have things to say about it. But the players and coaches sure all they would care about is that she knows the rules and enforces them fairly, including when to play advantage.

Sarah was the top-rated down judge (they used to be called head linesmen until Sarah became one) for the 2020 season, and that's how she was assigned Super Bowl LV. It's interesting to note that, in the 2021 season, she failed to be assigned to any playoff game. At first I thought it was the league using her gender for propaganda purposes, and then I learned she is not the first Super Bowl official to get no playoff game the next season. So, in a way, this is great for women in officiating -- that they're judged on the quality of their work and nothing else. No special favors. That's exactly what women want, right? (She got a wild-card game in 2022. Btw, there are now three female officials in the NFL.)

I actually dressed up like her last holloween
  • I guess anyone can be an NFL official. Wonder how she arrived so quickly and how Men who have worked for years to get at that level were passed up.
