Beautiful fabric. I would be inspired to sketch just by looking at the cover.

  • Perfect demonstration in every sense. For me from 1 to 10 I’ll give it a 10. So aesthetically pleasing!

Perfeito! Sou sua mais nova fã! Lina 🇧🇷

It is very interesting to see how others make there books whether for watercolor or the professional binder DAR on YouTube. I sew in signatures of groups of around 5 single thicknesses and use Lineco boards and covers that are either leather or soft leather like. So many of us prefer that our books stay open while working so it matters how the spine is done and the pull on each side of the book. There are so many pretty handmade papers for inner decoration but they would just need a clear cover , non acidic to protect the work inside. I love your needle, it reminds me of a surgical one that I have in a kit but the curved ones are best. Our own come out the best, make great gifts and we can make the size we want. My own that I made for my family as an heirloom is 16 x 10” or 16 x20” open flat. One can stitch fancy crosshatching or just get straight to it. Bookbinding glue is the best and if one has heavy clean large bricks or thick medical books that can tighten or be tightened with clamps then that glue sets overnight. Well done! It was very endearing to see you run your floss through the wax as a former embroiderer. One can be surprised at how fast this work can go. I have seen some very sloppily done examples on Etsy but just in about a 3 week time during free moments I made over 20 with 60 sheets or 120 sides of 10 x 14” not including a couple more larger ones with hp and cp paper. Buying the 5 -16 x 20 size wc paper makes a great size to handle also. Thank you. It was nice to see your work!😊

Clearly why hardbacks are more expensive than paperback books. lol Lots of work put into them. Absolutely beautiful work. Thank you
