NASHVILLE TRAFFIC ALREADY SUCKS!! Well... A Nashville TRAFFIC Autonomous Test JUST GOT BIGGER And Is A BAD IDEA!!! Deemed The LARGEST Test Of Its Kind, The "Circles Experiment" Is Led By Vanderbilt University And U.C. Berkeley, In Coordination With The Tennessee Department Of Transportation (TDOT) And NISSAN North America. The Test Is A Five Day Driving Experiment That Takes Place On I-24 Outside Of Nashville And Includes 100 Cars That Are Integrated Into Real Traffic. Artificial Intelligence (AI) From 2,500 Hours Of Autonomous Driving Data Is Used To Assess The Impact Of Vehicles With Modified, Adaptive Cruise Control To Smooth Traffic. The Experiment Will Study The Increase Of Fuel Economy, Improvement Of Air Quality And Reduction Of Commute Times.
