The most brilliant line this older gentleman said--"The song beautifully captures the imperfections of love and faith" Wow never heard it described it like that before!! Beautiful!!
-
These men, after only one listen to a complex song, understand the lyrics far better than most native English speakers after many times hearing the song.
-
"The acceptance of imperfection and standing before the Lord with honesty is powerful" AMEN BROTHER!
-
"Even when you forget God, he never abandons you in solitude". Thank you brother. I needed that.
-
"Hallelujah is not just a word, it's an emotion, a universe of feelings." Well said. Well said indeed. Take care all.
-
Are they aware there are no instruments used in this song? It is all done by them, their voices, or sounds they make like clapping, stomping their feet, or sound effects with their mouths.
-
I came to see them marvel at the acapella, and here i am marvelling at their deep understanding and the beauty in their souls ❤️
-
As someone who already loves this song, I am humbled by the depth of feeling and spiritual interpretation presented by these gentlemen. Thank you for sharing!
-
You two understood this song better than many English speakers do. And express your emotions in a poetic way. Beautiful!
-
What intelligent people. Way more expressive in thier language than most. They are beautiful.
-
I loved their reaction. The younger one was so outwardly emotional during the video, and the older man was stoic but his body language subtly shifted through the song. I could tell before they even spoke that the music had touched them the same as it does me. And the words they used... wow. I think with a day or two to prepare I could have come up with something as eloquent as that, but they just off the cuff started spouting some deeply relevant and philosophical observations. Two very wise men.
-
These two men are the most perceptive articulate and wise men I have seen in a long time so loquacious
-
These people are the real muslims! No hate, but the appreciation of the God in his full beauty. God bless them 🤲
-
"stitching together the fragments of joy and sorrow..."Perfect. ❤️
-
I’m sure Leonard Cohen would be thrilled at how deeply moved they were and how they understood his words on a different level. The melody is sublime of course and beautifully performed.
-
The language they used to express their interpretation of the music is on another level. Listening to them speak was another layer to the song itself, well done.
-
This is probably the most moving and poignant breakdown of these lyrics. It moved me to tears hearing the poetry of their words describing the timeless poetry of the song. ❤
-
'He never abandons you in solitude', that hit home, wise old man

Love how the young man can´t withold his emotions. That deep sighs are beautiful.
