This time it’s a quick sketch of a scene that really made my childhood.
Son Goku goes Super Saiyan for the first time.
I am not a fan of anime at all, but DBZ will always have a special place in my heart. This scene pretty much changed how I watch and what I expect from most media nowadays. The build-up, the pay off, everything about this scene is just perfect.
Obviously, this is not the original scene but a remake. I used it because it’s pace is much faster, easier to score to and was the highest resolution video of the scene I could find, but still it catches the spirit perfectly.
