One more Forgotten Classic remaining! Any guesses??
  • It’s funny seeing Brian McCann playing for the Braves. Who would’ve thought 12 years later he’d be playing for the Astros, helping them win their first World Series?
  • @sooners2037
Miss watching both Bagwell and Biggio playing for the Astros. Miss seeing those games in the Astrodome also

This is not forgotten! It’s one of the best games ever. Probably the best LDS Gm 4 ever played
  • You know what the best part of that Berkman Gland Slam is? It's the fact that Kyle Farnsworth threw a 96 MPH Fastball on the outside corner and hit his spot PERFECTLY. Seriously, the catcher wouldn't have had to even move his glove. He hit his spot perfectly with a 96 MPH fastball and it still didn't even matter. Berkman was such a great hitter that a pitcher can do everything perfect and still get rope. But for the Pitcher, like what you do? You did everything you were supposed to and did it spot on and still gave up a Grand Slam. The Catcher, Pitching Coach & Manager also can't be mad because you didn't do anything wrong. Sometimes you just gotta tip your cap to them and admit they got you that time...

I was at this game. My wife and daughter left around the 12th inning. I just remember being like “I’m Not Going Anywhere” this is historic.

I was at this game, 2nd row of the right outfield and I can say fans were ready to cry MERCY. Keep in mind it was a SUNDAY game that started at 12:05PM and ended after 6PM. Most folks stay out late on Saturday night and getting to a noon Sunday game and beat the traffic involves getting up early. THEN many of the vendors (including alcohol) shut down by 8th inning. Not only were the players spent... but fans were as well. No complaints because of a happy ending but had Astros lost the series would have continued and the players for both teams would have been running on empty.

Any other Stros fans missing the Killer B’s buzzing sound?
  • @bobbleheadbob
My family had season tickets to the Astros at the time. During the postseason we would have to share and choose which games, I forfeited going to this game so I could attend game 4 of the WS instead... That was a mistake lol, this turned into a legendary game and the Astros went on to get swept.

As an Astros fan this was the most fun I ever had watching a game until we won the world series.
  • @pjwesell
Bro please keep this series going. I love all of your videos, but these stand out because most of these I didn’t get to experience most of them live.
  • 2005 NLDS Chris Burke hits home run in the 18th inning 2022 ALDS Jeremy Peña hits a home run in the 18th inning

Now the Braves and Astros will meet in the World Series 16 years later!
  • @Tyler-jm6yq
I was at that game as a kid. After watching this in retrospect getting to see the rocket come out of the bullpen and strike out the side is more way amazing to me than the 3 home runs...blessed I was able to witness history.
  • @NickCC23
This was the first postseason game ever to feature two grand slams.
  • @Tmillea
It’s so weird hearing Dave O’Brien doing something other than Sox games.
  • @bluerubyshadow
did anyone watching this game when it aired think these 2 would play in a world series in the future
