How to Use the New Google Podcasts (2020)

I have been trying to find info on how to use podcasts for a while now and I always gave up, not getting any solid information. You pretty well summed it up and I'm very happy to see all the perks of Google's podcast. Thanks for the great info. Can't wait to try it.

I wish the cast button was on the card alongside rewind, it's where I naturally look for it to cast that episode rather than back to the top left of the home screen. Great app though.

I just had a search for Google Podcasts on the Apple AppStore but it didnt appear in the search results. I had to use a browser to Google search for the Google Podcasts app, then it redirected me to the specific app in the iOS AppStore. Finally! In my opinion, it's a better Podcasts app than the default iOS app.

It was so informative, and I now feel more confident about using those buttons and other features, now that you've explained them in this very helpful tutorial of yours. Just one question… Why is it that everytime I mark an episode as played, and it shows up as completed, the next day, the completed button is gone and the episode shows up as brand new, as though I haven't listened to it yet? I just downloaded the app to my Android recently, and though it's a great app and plays really well (it even plays in the background, which I love because I can do other things while listening to an episode of a favorite show) my mark as played episodes just won't stay marked. Do you know what might be causing the problem? Thanks. By the way, my favorite show so far is the Living Waters podcast.

Very informative video. I know it's about 2 years old, but I still learned a lot from it. One thing, can a podcast be downloaded and played in a different player on Android? I'm about to download podcasts from different areas and add them to my music player on my android, but I can't seem to do this via google podcast app. Am I missing something?
