Just finished learning the song. I don't actually play guitar properly, so I haven't learnt the theory, so I have just been learning patterns. I'm not sure if this is a good approach to self-taught guitar, but hey, it's still fun, and you train your memory skills 👍🏻

im 43 and JUST started learning how to play the guitar...id really love to learn this song!!! i was just trying to keep up with 1st and 6th strings and it made my day!!! Hopefully one day ill be able to get to other strings too

I thank you for this tutorial!! I have had a guitar for years but never did much with it other than playing the major chords in various random arrangements as a ralaxation technique. Now as an old guy I have been practicing this song for probably 3 months off and on. Never played notes before other than the C scale in the first two frets. Taken a while for the brain to see Tabs rather than notes on a musical staff. I can play the entire song cleanly and at your speed except for the the second very fast portion of the introduction. Working on it! And for the life of me I cannot reproduce the sound of the first set of "triplet" notes . Its almost like you are playing a completely different note. Thanks again. Really appreciate the time and effort. I don't know if YouTube counts each of my views of your video. If it does I have added a couple thousand views.
