First Drive: Ken Block Drives the ALL NEW Extreme E Electric Racecar in Last Stage of Dakar Rally

This is my first drive in an all-electric racecar... ever. And it's in the Dakar Rally, of all places!! How rad is that? I had the opportunity to race the final stage of Dakar in the all new Extreme E ODYSSEY 21 racecar, and it was an absolute blast. And yes, I may have ripped a donut or two in it, too. The wildest feeling was how instantly the electric torque came on (all 750lb/ft) and how fun it was to drive because of that.

Legit looks and sound like an rc. The arial shots just look like he’s rippin it in a traxxis but then it cuts to the cockpit and then you remember it’s a real car with real people 😂😂 it’s pretty sweet

Love the instant torque of electric. Also the balance and lower CG from having the battery tray under the cab creates a very different driving dynamic.

Congrats on your drive. I was excited to see you run the car. Your ability to drive high horsepower 4WD on any surface is BADASS. I'm almost mesmerized at your car control. Your stang is a BEAST!!
