Im 80 years old, and I cant get enough of this song. The transition is incredible!

Ok, picture this: The year is 1981. You're listening to the radio or you're at a party or something. It doesn't matter. The point is, you're listening to music. Tainted Love by Soft Cell comes on. "Oh hell yeah," you think. But as you listen to it, you star to realize that it's going on longer than it should. "Must be some extended version," you think. Cool. But then the chord progression changes. It shifts from minor to major. The drums kick in. Then the xylophone synth. "Holy shit," you say. It's Where Did Our Love Go. You've just witnessed for the first time the smoothest transition in the history of music Wouldn't you just lose your fucking marbles?

Almost 40 years later, this song is still so hypnotic and awesome! I wish the radio stations would play this extended version - it's the best! snap snap snap..

This classic medley is awesome and timeless. He has a great voice. The transition from "Tainted Love" to "Where Did Our Love Go" is one of the best song transitions ever.

This aged so damn well tho. Doesn't sound like any cheesy 80's song. It's a bridge between mainstream pop and epicc new wave. Soft Cell guys were geniuses.

Cool story: The bell sound in “Where did Our Love Go?” is the same sound as my doorbell at my house. The first time it came on the radio, I actually went to the door and checked if anyone was there. I never heard the extended version before. By dog still barks at it this day.

55 year old that was into the hard rock thing back then....but always loved this song ! Brings back some great memories ! What i wouldn't give to do it all over again !
