They affected my life in more ways than I can ever describe or list. If they played all of their songs live that had meaning to me, the show would be days long. Thankyou U2

    Love this man
Him and the lads have been a constant in my life since my teens
And as a 50 year old man I still turn to them when I'm down
Thank you for the music and words

This band has had my ear and my heart since 1983. ❤🎶
  • @PM2024-
Just in case you weren’t alive in 1987 when U2 released their greatest album, ‘Joshua Tree’ (and one of the best rock albums ever), please understand that it was a phenomenon, a global phenomenon 🌎 🇮🇪
  • I remember seeing the video for 'Gloria' the first time it was aired on MTV and thinking.... they're going to be huge.

These four men are truly remarkable. Over 4 decades and they are friends creating music together. A rare group indeed. My favorite since seeing them in 1980 at The Ritz in NYC.

Their relationship and how they are still together is one to be admired tbh. Wow!

While I am no U2 fan in the least (I’m more of a Thin Lizzy type guy) when my mom passed I made sure “Where the Streets have no name” was playing for her as she crossed over

I attended Mount Temple Comprehensive School, where we were always very aware of our famous past pupils, and would joke about how U2 would randomly appear one day to take a trip down memory lane, never expecting they would ever do such a thing. Of course Bono decides to do just that years after I graduate 😂 But to see him walking the same hallways I once walked is truly surreal. I already feel very proud to be a woman from the northside of Dublin, but knowing a band as big as U2 grew up in neighbourhoods a stone's throw away and sat in the same classrooms as me has definitely elevated that sense of pride 💙

In my life, U2 songs have saved my life.
  • Bono is such a legend. How can anyone dislike him is beyond me! Can't wait for a new album and tour.

Huge fan. Hands down, one of the best concerts I've ever attended.
  • U2 were the Beatles of my generation. When I was listening to them and going to their concerts as a teenager in the 80s, I never imagined that their music would mean even more to me now than it did back then. That the band in general, and Bono in particular, would turn out to be men of such great character is a bonus. There will never be another band like U2.

I was at that "WAR" concert at Red Rocks Ampitheater in Colorado in 1983...seeing the footage again gave me chills, just like their music has for the last 40+ years.

My dad is not a rock fan, but we were talking about U2, and he said "You never hear about them getting into any trouble". Very true regarding u2

I saw U2 in concert in Honolulu in December 2006. Their music will be a touchstone of my youth in the eighties.
