Tim Walz Bolsters Kamala Harris Campaign At HUGE Rally In Philadelphia

Tim Walz is so wonderful. I'm lucky to live in MN with him as my governor. He genuinely gives a shit about his constituents. He got so much flak for *feeding kids in school*. Can you imagine that?? It's ridiculous. I'm pretty sure I've talked him up in comments to you all ever since covid. Because he handled it so fucking well. And he took full responsibility for if it didn't go right. A reporter said, "who do we hold responsible if it fails?" and he said, unequivocally, "me". That's it. He sealed the deal for me before that, but knowing how much integrity he has was just the cherry on top. And he is just unabashedly midwestern dad. He is the stereotype without it being sickly sweet. Just a wonderful man. The picture of him holding a piglet with utter joy on his face warms my heart. He is what we need because of how jaded people are about politicians. There's not a slick or smooth bone in his body. He just is a genuine guy. ETA - did you see how happy he was delivering her message? How he loudly clapped and cheered for her plans?? The man has no fucking ego.

Kamala and Tim will redefine progressive liberalism for the 21st Century! Kamala was the wise "Hand," the humble yet confident support as Biden's VP. She courageously and confidently steps into the spotlight to emerge as leader of the free world with Walz assuming the vital role of a VP as capable as he is loyal. Happy warriors - just what America needs to heal and unite NOW!

The Sergeant is solidly middle American. America's Coach is no extreme lefty; only left of the right wing. Feeding hungry students is middle America. Protecting the right to vote is middle America. Being a champion for new, affordable American clean energy is middle America.

I'm 70 and this turn of events makes it really wonderful to have followed the Pod, Amy Goodman and Melissa Murray all these years now and watching everyone evolve, and it's like weight has been lifted after a decade of fear and loathing of what was happening in the world, nation, government, in the supermarket where ever we lived ! Glimmer of hope turned into sparklers and hope we can carry it to the ballot box!

Walz is a great example of positive, non-toxic masculinity 💯. Big, tough manly man, but uses that to help others, contribute to the community and lift up the marginalized.

As an educator, I can safely say…Coach Walz is that teacher. An asset to whatever bldg he’s in. To faculty, parents AND students. There’s nothing half-assed, fake, or “try-hard” about him.

I love the energy this ticket brings to the table. A complete contrast to the doom and gloom, hate-filled TRUMP rallies.

I was beside myself when Tim Walz was announced as Harris' VP pick. His track record is amazing 👏 look him up. you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll feel HOPE again. 💙🇺🇸💙

Walz made his name suddenly. We are all now familiar with the laundry list of things he did in MN with only a razor thin majority, but what is not mentioned is how quickly it happened. It all happened basically at once, all within a 10 month period. Minnesota has been in a quagmire of GOP obstruction just as much as any other state. Tim Pawlenty drove us into the ground. The whole Walz phenomena was a surprise to me, too, and I've voted for him twice now already. It shocked everyone when cannabis became legal. I didn't expect that to happen for another ten years.

He knows turkey isn’t vegetarian. He was just razzing his teenager. Totally sweet.

One of the cool things about Tim .......He is willing and able to address the sexists and the racists, so that Kamala doesn't have to!!

Our Democratic bench is deep. We have many talented Democrats. I’m happy we have a VP who is decent, down to earth, with a military and teaching backgrounds. Walz was probably the best complementary fit.
