In DJing, phrasing refers to the alignment of phrases of two tracks in a mix. This allows the transition between the tracks to be done without breaking the musical structure.

So how can you get both tracks to align and transition at the exact spot you want them to? This video explains the easy way and the harder way to do it.

    Pro Tip: If you are mixing live and are eye balling the mix point and you miss it, you can use beat matching or set a loop to sequence the drops.
