John Daily and Tiger Woods are the reason I play golf. It got me 4 years at a D1 school for free. I met John later in life and told him that, said thank you and he gave me the best advice ever,”do everything I do on the course, nothing I do off of it”. I’ve met hundreds of pga tour players and none of them were as cool as Big John. He has lots of demons we all know that but he has a huge heart too. He’s a role model even if he himself doesn’t realize it.

JD hasn't played the Masters in years but every year he hangs out all week at the Hooters on Washington Road a mile or two from the Augusta National. He hangs out with his fans, signs a million autographs, drinks plenty of tall boys, and just does his thing. What a legend.

This is a professionally made documentary by a YouTuber with 1400 subs. I am in awe

To have tiger woods tell him " John if I had half your talent I'd join you for a drink " says alot about how much talent the man had ❤

John has had his ups and downs. We all do. Except ours don't play out in front of the world. For all the turmoil he endured, I think he came out of it pretty well. Nothing but good wishes for my favorite golfer, John Daly.

One word why JD is beloved by us working stiff Golf fans……… RELATABLE. That’s it, my favorite player of all-time.

Good Lord what a good documentary! your comprehensive dialogue and combined film clips are right in there with all the really professionally produced pieces done with teams of 10 people. Thanks so much you are to be commended…

His 1991 PGA Championship win is a golf legend forever and inspiring to me as a young golfer back then. Obviously John was battling demons his entire life and career that was left over from his childhood and still accomplished some incredible feats in spite of it. We don't know if that drove him or dragged him down or both, but John Daly had a good heart along with incredible talent along with a penchant for self-destruction at times and we will probably never see another professional golfer like him on the PGA tour.

This man came from nothing and gave so much of himself... this is the type of character we desperately need in society today
  • pure fire. loved this documentary. Didn't know John Daly was my favorite golfer until I watched this.

Just watched John Daily and Kid Rock on Tucker Carlson's show. He's still my favorite golfer of all time, especially after seeing his Hooter's lifetime membership card. Between Jhon, Bob, and Tucker Carlson I laughed the entire time show. I recommend it to everyone who likes Kid Rock ,John Daily, and or Tucker Carlson.

Outstanding documentary, thank you. I remember following him around back home in Ireland at the Irish Open in 1994 when I was 14. Nobody was hitting the ball plus 300 yards regularly. It was incredible, a memory with my Dad and brother that I will never forget. I was a fan ever since

John made golf exciting to watch. Yes, he has issues, so what, I do to. Everyone has something going on in their life. John has a good soul, a big heart. Giving 30k to a family who's Father/ husband he never met was struck by lightning in a parking lot. That says a lot about who he is.

I love the the willpower of John Daly, going to rehab on his own and sobering up. What a legend. Stay strong
  • How often to you see someone do something that great and give praise to the caddie like that? That’s what I call CLASS! No matter his downfalls he will always have that!
  • JD was Tiger Woods, before Tiger Woods. For a kid just getting in to the sport, he was electric. I loved him. That Open win in 95 will always be one of my favorites.

What I find so endearing about John Daly, is how he owns all his demon's, and somehow was able to take them all along for the ride. He has never once denied the fact that they existed, unlike other Pro athletes with issues....
  • @rooster68able
May the road rise for you JD , no excuses , no regret , right or wrong, you always owned it and thats more then 99% of the people can say
  • @mikewhite255
This dude is a legend , I respect the hell out of him . He has what matters , a heart and good intentions.

I read a biography on John when I was 8 or 9. Been my favorite golfer ever since. Never perfect, always a class act in the end.
