Magnet Fishing for Treasure in Very Old City Canals (CRAZY!)

I really enjoy having these videos on my 2nd monitor while I'm working. I love this content. No fake drama or planted objects. Just a bunch of regular guys out having a great day, cracking jokes, enjoying the camaraderie of a shared hobby. Makes me smile throughout the whole video.

Today's adventure takes us to Brielle in the Netherlands, an amazing Dutch Fortress City which has to be one of the most amazing- looking cities ever built! It's also very old and the canals are insane... Danny say's they are also pretty cold! 😂😂 (It seems pretty common these days that one of us ends up the canals 😭💦💦). We had such an adventure that we made this episode into an extended version so make sure you are all set for a big treasure hunt! The boat is called the geuzenship. Den Briel is the first city liberated in 1572 by the gueux from the Spanish occupation. Every year there is a large feast celebration the liberation called de 1 april feesten.

Please tell Wim to always place a blanket loosly over the winch cable so if the cable snaps it will tangle up in the blanket and not cut through someone ! Winch cables can break at anytime . Please do it safely ! I love these shows i just don't want to see you guys get hurt and shows will be over then ! Oh and those clipers are tin snips usually used to cut roof sheets. Oh and please wash off the finds and then show us ! :-) The Spike Wim found is a Marline spike for undoing knots in ropes on boats and a magnetic oblong stone just a kids toy.

I think your mystery "weapon" may be a type of fid, a tool for working with knots and rope. My neighbor is a crabber and has a very similar thing on his boat for working with his crab trap ropes.

Thanks for the history lessons also. It's lovely to learn the history of the different places you go & also to see the beautiful architecture.
