-
bullied that man into becoming an avenger
-
“But I know something about you” still gives chills every time
-
"But I know something about you..." the way he delivers it you know it's all over with that line
-
I bet Clarence had a good comeback next day in the shower.
-
Clarence: "crap, I should have went first"
-
its 27/04/2024 and i still come to listen to this epic battles
-
I come back here every now and then just to give myself the chills, love this scene so much
-
Update: I still live at home with both parents.
-
this dude Clarence really lost because he had nice parents.
-
I like how for all verses, they stayed true to the 45 second rule, and even the minute n a half for finale. Especially in the second round, homie knew that his boy could've gone on for another solid 30 seconds and smoke that guy. But he's true to the rules and cut it off EXACTLY at the 45 second mark so not to show favoritism. That's dope.

This movie was damn near a masterpiece. Em shoulda won maddddd awards for this. Playing himself. So many levels to his performance. This final scene was brilliantly written, directed and acted. Not one actor seemed nervous. Amazing.
-
Imagine being humiliated in front a couple hundred people and losing the championship title because your parents have a good marriage
-
Legend says that only Clarence’s shampoo bottle knows his comeback.

Even after all this time, so many people dont get why the last verse was so effective. It's not about the way Rabbit takes away everything Clarence has to say about him or the way he embarrasses him. Throughout the whole movie he struggles with the whole white rapper thing, the elvis jokes etc. In this verse he says to the crowd: I am you. I know your struggles. I am more like you then he is. Its subtle and its perfect.
-
Unpopular opinion but the “I’ll get the seven digits from your motha for a dollar tommorw” was the hardest line
-
Clarence loses “It’s really important to me that Cap never finds out about this”
-
The crowd wasn’t even acting , they were feeling it
-
39 years old, still listening to this shit... I guess I'm in my 2nd childhood :)

There isn’t another rap/battle movie that captures the moment like this movie did. Forever a classic and timeless piece of magic.
