ALCOHOLIC METH USER FINDS JESUS AFTER OVERDOSE // MY TESTIMONY

Published 2021-06-06
Hi everyone! This week, Connor is sharing his story of redemption, and how Jesus rescued him out of the pits of hell, to fully and completely restore him. His testimony is heavy and dark, full of drug addiction, meth, overdosing, alcoholism, sexual sin, and even robbery. But it just makes me that much more proud of the man he has become, and how he has let God transform him. Our God is so good.

His transformative story is just evidence of how when we give God our lives and let him lead the way, he will heal us, place new desires in our heart, and is able to pour out his blessings on us. It also shows me that when we are chasing the world, the devil really has the opportunity to take our lives and spin them out of control. If you give the enemy an inch, he will take a mile.

To be honest, many parts of this story are details that both he and I would rather leave in the past and would rather no one ever know about. They aren’t details he or I mention often. But lately, we have felt great urgency and a calling to put Connor’s story out into the public, in hopes to inspire or encourage others to put their hope in Jesus. We have come to realize that it isn’t about us and our pride being broken, but it is about magnifying our Lord and how worthy he is of our praise! God’s miraculous healing over Connor and His love have been poured out to us in ways we cannot comprehend, and that is truly something to shout from the mountaintops!

It’s also important for us to show people that there is a misconception that if you are on fire for God, you have always been close to Him, and don’t know a life without Him. Or that your life is perfect or has always been perfect, and maybe you “just don’t understand.” We are here to show you that that is simply not true. In fact, stories of miraculous recovery and redemption are just that much more powerful! God can save you from any situation you are in, if you’ll simply allow him to. The world is a crazy place right now and there is so much uncertainty, but the one thing we can find stability and solace in, is the firm foundation of the Lord.

We thank God for Connor’s healing and the way Connor joyfully pursues God in his life now, daily. What a long, but beautiful journey it’s been for him, as he’s escaped from being an alcoholic, a drug addict, a meth user, and from the man he was, back when he overdosed. The man described in this video is simply unrecognizable, and is not a man that I have ever known. This just shows how completely and fully our God has restored him. He has made Connor new and we rejoice in this!

Thanks everyone for watching! We always appreciate your support, whether that’s with a like, by subscribing, or by leaving a comment. That helps this video be seen by more people, which is our main goal! We are trying to get the Word of God out there, and sharing his testimony seems like a good way to do so, so please help us out in spreading the good news! :)

Let us know if you are struggling with any of these same things, or leave a comment below about how God has transformed you or already rescued you out of these pits! And if you haven’t already posted your testimony, do it today!!

This was such a good testimony I just found you after looking for testimonies and you were one of the first to show up. God really changed you, I’m glad your still alive and congratulations on your wedding 🙏🏾I’m thinking of sharing my one soon. Jesus is amazing!
  • I love hearing testimonies like this. It is amazing to me how God can take someone who led such a dirty and rebellious life and make a new creation out of them! This is why I try not to judge people who are in situations and lifestyles like you once were, and even I once was. Because you can look at them and think, "what a waste and they are useless to society".. but they are just lost, and the change that God can do with them is incredible. My testimony video is on my YouTube. Thank you for sharing yours!

I grew up without a Father. So many walk that same path of life, never knowing the TRUE guidance a Father can provide, the sense of protection, the unwavering love a Father is supposed to extend to his children. It only got harder once I had children of my own, HOW do I be a Father, when I don’t even know what it means…so many abandon their children asking that same question to themselves. God changed everything, God began showing me what it meant to love, to care, to nurture…but not just my children, but those around me “thy neighbor”. I realized I knew no Father, just so I could come to know THE FATHER, when the time was right 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 We are going to have “Moments of Uncertainty” But that is not as important as the element you use to relieve yourself. Many followers of Christ are still indulging in our vices and addictions to relieve our “Uncertainties” Lean on God in your darkest moments, lean on the word that says you were created with meaning and purpose, lean on the Grace of God…let it steady your mind, your heart and your body. I don’t know who I’m writing to, who’s reading this, but God is ready, and waiting for you to seek him, through Jesus Christ, whom he sent to die the death meant for you and I. Not just on Sunday, not just when you “need” him, not just when you’re desperate…but every day, hour, minute and second of your life. Develop consistency in Christ, and you will come to know what it means to “Be still, and know, that he is God” Glory be to God 🩸🩸🩸 If I still have you here, God bless you, join me as I take you inside a moment of my own personal “Uncertainty” in life, while never forgetting God has me always 🙏🏽🕊 https://youtu.be/VXfWQtxnwqc
