Under the Nature Park Law of Japan, unauthorized vehicles are not permitted to be ridden within The Tottori Sand Dunes area. (Bicycles, motorcycles, cars, ATVs, kickboards, etc.) Violations are strictly punishable by law (fine of up to 500,000 yen or imprisonment of up to 6 months)
